“I. Who are.” Daniela Pareschi divides her interpretation by images of Andersen’s masterpiece into three chapters in which, playing on nuances and allusions, on details and contrasts, on dissonances and references, she proposes an “Ugly Duckling” without the article, without indetermination. The rewriting of the original text by Biagio Russo recovers and enhances the deeper and lesser-known aspects of the classic, proposing to the reader how complex the construction of identity by the individual is and how difficult it is to accept the different and the weak, among children, adolescents and adults. Reading age: from 5 years.
