Fida© is the world’s first awards to promote fashion illustration and drawing around the globe, supported and partnered by some of the best brands and people in the fashion industry.

The aim of the awards is to celebrate the field of fashion illustration and highlight the major role the Fashion illustrator plays in the creative arts industry.




Blakes 5 Star hotel is offering a 3 month residency for a selected winner, gaining access to hidden spaces and staying for free in various rooms over night curating fashion drawing experiences.

Founded by illustrator/educator and artist Patrick Morgan RCA, who developed the Wallpaper* magazine education programme with the Royal College of Art, and has most recently been leading the luxury fashion illustration masterclasses with the V&A and Dior, for the ‘Designer of Dreams’ Exhibition.

Blakes Hotel and Fida, will be offering the winners of this award, selected by a committee, the opportunity to illustrate and draw numerous muses within the different locations of this luxury hotel.

Blakes Hotel is a 5-star hotel in London and considered one of the world’s first boutique hotels. It is at 33 Roland Gardens in South Kensington. It was established by London hotelier and designer Anouska Hempel, and contains eclectic artefacts collected by Hempel during her international travels. Known for protecting its clients’s privacy from the paparazzi, it often accommodates celebrities. Regular guests have included Princess Margaret; Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York; actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Lindsay Lohan; and supermodel Kate Moss.
