The Piano Nobile Gallery in London and the Ruth Borchard Collection invite all artists to enter the Self-Portrait Prize 2021.
There are no restrictions on size or media and no expected form or style. The only requirement is that the work must be a self-portrait.
Historically entries have included both abstract and figurative works, the topic of self approached in isolation or in a group and via a range of media; including but not exclusive to, painting, drawing, digital art, textiles, sculpture, photography, ceramics and collage.
Entry fee starts from 30 GBP.
Open to artists of all backgrounds from anywhere in the world.
In addition to a winner being awarded the 10,000 GBP Ruth Borchard Prize, a long list of works will gain international exposure through inclusion in a dedicated virtual gallery. A selection of works will be acquired for the Next Generation Collection and further shortlist of works included in a second exhibition.
